Things on a Stick #2

Finding time for this project should not be too difficult. It's a matter of priorities. If we truly wish to do something, we can and will find time to do it. If I experience some down time while on-the-job I will try to do some of the work. I also am willing and interested enough to pursue the "stick work" on my own time as necessary. I hope to learn new skills which can be applied to my worklife and homelife as well. The internet has become an important part of daily life, and as an educational tool and communication vehicle, the internet delivers the world to our fingertips in a matter of seconds. I am looking forward to adding to my technical knowledge and gaining a better perspective of how the many tools available today can be utilized in putting libraries "out there" where the users are.

Things On a Stick #1

Completing this task was a bit of a struggle, but finally I think I got it. At one point (adding my avatar to my blog) the directions didn't match up with anything I was seeing on screen, no matter how many times I backtracked and started over. Also, when registering my blog, I had to sort out display name, URL name, password, address, user name, blog name, etc. Boy, was I twisted around for awhile. Well, guess I'm living up to my name...stick-to-it gal!
